Nets lose close game to Hawks..

After a game the should have ended in a easy Jersey win, Tyronn Lue hits a 22 footer in overtime to seal it for the Atlanta Hawks. The Nets season has been one of up and downs, injuries and disappointments - and Sunday night was no different. After 4 quarters was not enough for the boys from Easter Rutherford to dispense of the lowly Hawks. Vince Carter and the rest of Frank's squad had to enter overtime with the hopes of dispensing Joe Johnson and the boys from Atlanta. As OT winded down, Carter hit a key 3 pointer with 2.9 seconds to go to tie the ball game. After a Atlanta timeout, out came the Hawks and as Lue released his jump shot at the buzzer you could see the dejection on the face of Kidd and the rest of the Nets.
The Nets next take on the Philadelphia 76ers tonight at 7:30 in Phili. Andre Iguodala and Andre Miller and the revamped 76ers hope to make a dent on Jersey's 7 game lead on them in Atlantic division. Check back tomorrow for another update and hopefully a better result.
