Believe it or not it happened again. Two games in three days both decided unfavorably in overtime. This time it was not the Hawks who need the extra period to finish the boys from Jersey but instead the Atlantic Division rival - Philadelphia 76ers. Andrew Iguodala had a career night with 23 points, 15 assists and 7 rebounds in the victory to combine with Samuel Dalembert's 17 rebounds and 14 points. The Sixers have won 5 of their last 8 games while New Jersey has lost two in a row in OT on last second heroics. Carter had 23 points and 10 rebounds in the contest but played uninspired basketball for much of the game. Believe it or not, the Nets actually had an 11 point lead in the third quarter but let it slip away going in the fourth.
The Nets next take on Atlanta for a revenge match Wednesday night in Atlanta. With redemption and a end to a OT losing streak in their grasps, it will interesting to see if New Jersey can lift themselves from this slide.
